The “Scarabeo 6” represents the best of third generation semisubmersible drilling units rated for worldwide operations and for harsh environments.
Scope of work for MOPP:

• Blasting and painting of the columns and deck box.
• Blasting and painting of the new building items (3000 ton new steel) such as sponsoons and blisters.
• Ultra High Pressure (3000 bar) of bracings.
• Dust free blasting of the main deck.

 

Executed in 2012 within a period of 180 days.
